“我是个游戏”？
中文里自嘲时会说“我就是个笑话”
这两句看似异曲同工
但其实意义却大不同

01 “I'm game”是什么意思？
当老外说I'm game
是用来表示对所建议的事情感兴趣
意思是：我愿意；我乐意；赞同
常用搭配：
be game for sth
be game to do sth
例：
A: How about a coffee later?
一会儿去喝杯咖啡怎么样？
B: I'm game!
很乐意！
还有一个类似的表达：I'm up for that.
be up for 愿意；同意
例：
A: Shall we hit the gym after work?
下班后去健身房怎么样？
B: I'm up for that.
我赞成。
02 “What's your game”是什么意思？
What's your game?意思是：
你在玩什么把戏？你在搞什么名堂？
例：
The porter saw me climbing over the wall and shouted "Hey you, what's your game?"
门卫看到我翻墙，大声叫道：“哎，你在搞什么名堂？”
03 “give the game away”是什么意思？
give the game away = 泄露秘密；露马脚
例：
The key words have been omitted because they would give the game away.
关键词已被删去，因为它们会泄露秘密的。
04 “play games”是什么意思？
play games除了“玩游戏”
还常用来表达：欺骗，耍花招
常用搭配：play games with sb
例：
Don't play games with me!
