A San Francisco Bay Area real estate heiress who was under house arrest on $35 million bail for more than two years plans to reconnect with her children and visit family in China after a jury acquitted her of killing the father of her kids, her attorney said Friday.

After deliberating for 12 days, jurors found Tiffany Li not guilty on charges of murder and conspiring with her boyfriend to kill 27-year-old Keith Green in 2016 over a custody dispute.

经过12天的商议，陪审员认定李凡妮在2016年与男友合谋杀害与她有监护权纠纷的前男友一案中无罪。

Li wept Friday as the verdicts were read and rushed out of the building afterward.

2016年4月底，27岁的基斯·格林失踪。不久后，有人在北湾索诺马县发现了他的尸体。随着警方的调查，嫌疑人最终锁定在他的前女友李凡妮及其现任男友身上。

Green went missing after he was supposed to meet Li at a pancake house in April 2016, and his body was discovered one month later in a Sonoma County field. He had one gunshot wound in his mouth when he was found, the outlet reported.

Li and Bayat were accused of conspiring to kill Green over a custody dispute, the Washington Post reported in September when Li and Bayat’s murder trial began.

San Mateo County prosecutors said that Li lured Green back to her mansion in Hillsborough, California, after initially agreeing to meet at the Millbrae Pancake House. The prosecutors then said that Bayat allegedly shot Green, and then paid Li’s security guard to dump his body, the Washington Post reported.

圣马特奥县检察官说，李凡妮一开始同意跟格林在Millbrae煎饼屋见面，后又诱使格林去了她位于加州希尔斯堡的豪宅。据《华盛顿邮报》报道，检察官随后表示，巴亚特开枪打死了格林，然后付钱让李的保安把他的尸体处理掉。

据格林的朋友透露，格林与李凡妮育有两个小孩。二人分手时两人曾因孩子的监护权问题闹得很僵。

法庭将李凡妮的保释金额设为3500万美元，但李家无法拿出足额现金，申请以房产的形式缴纳保释金。

Li paid $4,240,000 in cash and put up the rest of the value — more than $60 million — in property, PEOPLE previously reported. The money was raised by friends, family, extended relatives and business associates of her mother. California requires twice the bail amount if property is used in place of money.

李家支付了424万美元的现金，其余金额都是以房地产形式缴纳，价值达6000万美元。这笔钱由她的朋友、家人、亲戚和她目前的商业伙伴筹集的。根据加州法律规定，如果用房产代替现金，则保释金额需翻倍。

很快，李凡妮坐上一辆由私人保镖护送的私家车扬长而去，结束了她近一年的牢狱生活，开始在自己的豪宅中等待审判。

面对无罪的宣判结果，格林的妈妈在庭外接受采访时忍不住落泪，她坚称李凡妮是有罪的。

Victim Keith Green’s mother was emotional leaving court after Hillsborough heiress Tiffany Li was found not guilty on all counts. “She’s evil. She was evil to me. She was evil to my son, she was just evil.”

San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said jurors gave “their heart and soul” to the decision.

圣马蒂奥县地区检察官史蒂夫·瓦格斯塔夫(Steve Wagstaffe)表示，陪审员“全心全意”地做出了这一决定。

“Obviously disappointed, obviously we don’t agree,” he said. “But as we always say, this is how the jury system works, and we respect the jury for what it does.”
