昨天一家公司来跟我们谈合作，可能是因为第一次见面，对方的业务代表想拉近跟我们外教总监 Lawrence 的关系，就不停地嘘寒问暖、问东问西的，但是这哥们儿忒没眼力见儿了，竟然跟老外聊起了他结婚没有、是不是特别幸福......
这一下把刚离婚不久的 Lawrence 给惹毛了，直接给对方甩了一句：
“Stop! You're way out of line! ”
唉，要不说不能瞎套近乎呢~刚才 Lawrence 的意思是“打住！你太过分了！”他这句话里的“You're way out of line”是一句常用的短语，表示某人的言行或举止非常出格、欠妥，也就是我们常说的 "有点儿过了啊！" 但值得注意的是，这里的 out of line 可不是球类运动里所指的那个"出界"啊！那个界外球应该说成是“out of bounds”。
